Decentralization tools and cryptotechnologies have been undergoing through a substantial development and have started to infiltrate common use. Their existence begins to discomfort governments of most countries in the world for its emancipatory potential and the ability to cure problems caused by ineffective regulations and new social problems outside central control.
The sense of new technologies is not only in the current social and economic benefits - they may play a key role in the case of deep crisis in the future (whether war conflict, natural disasters, dictatorship or failure of infrastructure).
Blackout - a failure of strategic resources - is exceeding into wider consequences. Due to the interconnectedness of communication, energy, production and organizational networks, we should seriously discuss the role of new technologies and decentralization (not only) in crisis scenarios.

HCPP 2015 will take place in Paralelní Polis. Presentations will be held on the first floor (premises of Paper Hub transformed into a conference room) and on the second floor - our normal conference room called Institute of Cryptoanarchy. During the days of the Congress Polis will be open from 9:00 AM until... some early morning hour.
English is the working language of the Congress. Some presentations from the section "Lightning Talks" will be held in Czech.
Every participant receives an NFC card (Bitcoin card) where he can save bitcoins which are easy to buy in the two bitcoins ATMs in Paralelní Polis. You can use the bitcoins to buy food and drinks in Bitcoin Coffee. Please note that Bitcoin Coffee is a strictly Bitcoin only establishment and we do not accept Czech crowns.
Bitcoin Coffee and 4fresh Catering will provide all day long food and beverages. Again only bitcoins are accepted.
